Mindset And Motivation For Inner Success
I have meditated for many years, yoga asana and yoga nidra daily, mindfulness, breath practices and silent retreats.
I was intense about it and the result was HUGE shifts in perception. I became more of my true self, had long stretches of time in presence, had big mystical experiences, saw myself through the eyes of the divine and touched my true essence.
WHAT ARE WE HOLDING ON TO?
Yet still human , utterly vulnerable, raw and real, sometimes have self doubt, lose my temper, split into child self, want to win and have many limitations.
A true spiritual practice isn’t meant to scrub out our humanity.
Identifying What Makes Us Stuck
It allows us to see it, to accept it and gives us space to make different choices, as we become more self aware. Still with all the awareness in the world we are all human, all learning and fumbling through.
Giving Yourself Permission To Let Go And Open Up
We must not let shame guide who we are, we are ok, imperfect yet extraordinary and that includes all of us; yes the morning grouchiness, neediness, stretch marks and belly rolls, cellulite, inner procrastinator, angry self, all the things you loathe.
Before we can shift we must do the work of acceptance and appreciation for our sharp edges, be willing to invite them home, curious and open.
You might make alchemy but then again, you might also be stuck with yourself. Are you gonna spend your life trying to reject and erase or accept and raise?
One of those options is the better choice.
I invite you to share your victories, set backs and realizations in the comments. You are not alone. We are all in together.
